Home Inspector vs. CC Pools

Not Just a Code Check.

You can add a pool inspection onto your home inspection — but a home inspector is not a pool expert.

HI

Home Inspector

  • Quick 20–30 minute rundown
  • Checks what's up to code — that's it
  • Doesn't test pool equipment actually working
  • No water chemistry analysis
  • No structural assessment of the pool
  • No practical advice on maintaining the pool
  • Surface-level — not what you need before buying
CC

CC Pools Inspection

  • Full deep-dive by a master technician
  • Tests all pool equipment — actually runs it
  • Water chemistry checked and reported
  • Structural condition of the pool assessed
  • Practical recommendations you can act on
  • Tells you if your pool water is leaking
  • Everything you need to know before you buy

A home inspector tells you if it's up to code. We tell you if it actually works — and what it'll cost to keep it running.

Other Pool Guys vs. CC Pools

Not Just Another Checklist.

Other pool companies do inspections. Ours go deeper — and we actually get back to you.

Experience

Other Guys

Pull anybody off the street, hand them a checklist.

CC Pools

Master technicians — 5+ years with us, 500+ repairs completed.

Depth

Other Guys

Checklist is still surface level. Check this, check that.

CC Pools

Deep overview — we test equipment, chemistry, structure, and leaks.

Turnaround

Other Guys

Astronomical wait times. You call, they usually don't answer.

CC Pools

Complete quote within 24 hours of the site visit.

The Report

Other Guys

Basic form full of techno-babble. Hard to understand.

CC Pools

Clear, plain-English report. You know exactly what it means.

Leak Detection

Other Guys

Don't tell you if your pool water is leaking. No tools for it.

CC Pools

Specialized leak detection tools — the only company that finds hidden water loss.

Price

Other Guys

Don't credit the fee. More expensive at the end of the day.

CC Pools

Half your inspection fee credited toward any repair you do with us.

Real Problems We've Seen

When "Inspected" Doesn't Mean Tested.

Our customers tell us what happened with other pool inspections. Here's what we've seen — and why we do it differently.

The Heater That "Worked"

They don't test the pool equipment

A client bought a house that had passed a pool inspection. After she moved in, she started using her pool equipment — and found out her heater only turned on for a minute, then shut off. It wasn't working at all.

She was furious. She'd paid for a pool inspection and the heater problem wasn't on the report — because the other inspector never actually ran it. They just looked at it.

We don't just look at your equipment — we run it. Every pump, every heater, every filter. If it doesn't work when we leave, it's on the report.

The actual text conversation

Thursday 9:59 AM

Hey, we got the heater fixed. We just needed to replace two parts inside of it.
Thanks! Do you by chance know what would cause it to go out? I know there was a leak at the heater the previous owners had to repair. Does that have anything to do with it?
These internal parts is normal wear and tear as the heater gets older parts will go bad on it. But I think the leak didn't affect these.
I'm mad at the pool inspector that didn't catch this when I did my inspections! All good, thank you so much! Also, what do you charge monthly for pool maintenance
